Live Chic

In a way, the store is used as a classroom environment, in which students are able to play out situations, techniques and strategies we learn in class, within an actual retail store. Here are a few pictures that capture the essence of what our cozy [relaxed] weekends in Port Colborne look like for Jesse and I. Fashion for Paws: Fashion Show

Second year fashion merchandising students at Fanshawe hosted “Fashion for Paws”. This particular fashion show teamed up with three downtown London boutiques: Frilly Lizard, Commander Salamander, and Lolita. The featured garments from these stores were draped beautifully on the Anitanorris models. Paired with each model was a fuzzy friend; a rescue dog from the CanFix organization. Re-Love Fashion Show

In describing the outcome of our Reduce-Reuse-Revolve fashion show, the word “success” might be an understatement. The London Music Hall was absolutely glowing with “love”. Fashion Merchandising students (in their second year) put on one spectacular evening for everyone, in hopes of raising money for “My Sisters Place”. As i’m sure you’ve already read, our Fashion Merchandising program at Fanshawe is putting on a fashion show November 16th. Our theme is Reduce-Reuse-ReLOVE”, and to make this theme possible Good-Will Industries teamed up with us, and graciously donated several recycled items to each group participating in the show.
