The best way to spend your holidays is in Stripes! My love for HBC lives on, through a window display at my college, for my visual merchandising class. Hope everyone has gotten a start on their Christmas shopping!
I am very much enjoying my last year as a fashion merchandising student. Creative projects are what fill up our semesters, and I can’t get enough! Here is a display I created earlier this week. I’ll be sure to post my portfolio at the end of the year. For now I’ll just post snippets of projects I enjoy… such as this one!
Networking is a wonderful thing, much thanks to the Fanshawe staff that featured me on the Fashion Merchandising page via Facebook! Be sure to “like” to keep up to date with this wonderful program! I had fun this past Monday, transforming a window into an Alice & Wonderland tea party! To see more pictures, check out Leslie’s Clothing website here.

A friend and I spent an evening making decorative window feathers, inspired by the Fine & Feathered blog. I was able to put these feathers to good use in the Leslie’s Clothing latest window display!
A classmate and I created a fabulous “Set Fire to the Rain” themed window display at Leslie’s Clothing boutique. We were able to feature Leslie’s new spring jackets, as well as their Hunter rain boots. We as the merchandisers added our own personal touch with vinyl, unique looking rain/clouds, as well as umbrella’s! London’s weather compliments this window perfectly! Be sure to take a peak at our display, downtown at Leslie’s on Richmond Row!
