By no means am I a videographer, but their wedding presented the perfect opportunity to try my (hopefully steady) hand at this art. Warby Barker Spoof

Another project within the Fashion Merchandising program was “specialty modeling”. We found a special little girl named Nancy-Pants who was happy to work for cheese (no pun intended). She rocked these three shots, as did our male model Jesse! We drew inspiration from the Warby Parker April Fools campaign “Warby Barker”, google it… it’s a hoot! Special thanks to Monique Wiendels who photographed and edited the pictures, as well as stylist and basset hound lover Meagan Dobbie.

Emerald Green

After visiting Arizona, then Las Vegas for two massive buying shows… it was no joke that Emerald Green is 2013′s Pantone colour of the year! Spring fashion is definitely taking a pastel approach with mint green trending in stores, which we would call a pastel version of Emerald. We’re loving this playful colour, cannot wait to incorporate it into our wardrobes and lifestyle. New decorative cushions anyone?

We decided to keep Valentine’s Day low key. We made dinner together, drank wine, and devoured a local shops top dessert selection. This was the perfect evening-in.
